Personality: As is the nature of a Spirit, Kol is calm and avoids conflict if he is able, choosing instead to help if and when necessary. He's as loyal as they come and is extremely curious about the world and all it holds. Though, being a Spirit means his emotions are extremely sensitive, even to the negative feelings of others within a close proximity.
Abilities: Very skilled with ranged weapons - throwing daggers being a specialty of his. Fast runner, increased strength, smell, hearing and sight. The ability to see into another's mind, make himself invisible for short periods. Some control over flame and air.
Dragon Appearance and Characteristics
Height: Exact height varies (around 20ft at the shoulders), though overall length reaches around 50 feet in total, most of that being the tail.
Scales: For most of the year his scales retain a black and brown pattern. In winter any brown skin or scales dull to almost black.
Eyes: Dull brown accompanied by small hints of green towards the outer iris.
Personality: As is the natural nature of a dragon, despite being possessed by Kol's calm spirit, the instinctive hostility is always present. However at times, some of the dragon's hostility enter's Kol's body and draws out the rage buried deep inside. Despite this, like Kol, these creatures are extremely loyal and will never put themselves before what they value most.
Abilities: Fire breathing, flying for long distances, a high-pitched screech that can temporarily stun whomever is in hearing distance. Skilled flyer and fighter in close range and ranged.
Background: For all intense and purposes, Kol is dead. Killed during a raid on his village, the attackers accompanied by a captive dragon. Being born into a clan of witches and warlocks, Kol's mother cast a spell in order for his soul to latch onto a powerful being before it passed on. This powerful being ending up being the captive dragon. The spell ensured Kol could remain a Spirit, though with part of his soul now latched onto a dragon's. However, with the dragon having a physical existence, this ability made it possible for Kol to switch between his physical human-looking physical form, and back as and when he wishes.
The ever-growing Templar forces have issued Kol a prisoner in his dragon form - chained and held down in the depths of a castle, drugged to be barely conscious so no retaliation means no attempt at escape. Available to their use in battle when necessary; which isn't often, but enough cities know the appearance of the same dragon when they see one. A warrant for his capture and death recently created, as if they think that will stop the Templars...They have more tricks up their sleeve than no one dares anticipate.
How Kol got himself into this mess he barely bothers to remember, but in those brief moments of complete consciousness he plots his escape. All he needs is an ally.
